BuildRank Studio provides custom freelance services that are individually scoped and quoted. This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled.
Before work starts
If you have paid for an accepted project and cancel before BuildRank Studio has started the agreed work, you may request a refund of the project payment.
After work starts
Once work has started, payments are generally non-refundable because professional time and project capacity have already been committed. This does not limit any refund, remedy or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
What counts as work starting
Depending on the project, work may start with research, planning, technical setup, auditing, design, development, configuration, code review, keyword research, content structure work or another task included in the agreed scope. The commencement point can also be stated in the quotation or project email.
Changes in requirements
A change in requirements after work starts is not automatically a cancellation. If the requested change remains within the agreed scope, it can be handled as a revision. If it materially changes the project, a revised scope or additional quote may be required.
Unlimited revisions
Unlimited revisions apply only within the agreed project scope. They do not create a right to replace the original brief with a different project or add unlimited new pages, features, integrations or concepts without additional scope.
How to request a cancellation
Send the request from the email address associated with the project to hello@buildrankstudio.com and include the project reference or quotation details.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
